Our beautiful setting in the heart of Hursley provides care for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
Our Ethos
At Hursley Childcare Hub Ltd we welcome all children and their families into our friendly, caring, stimulating setting. As a smaller setting we really know all our individual children and their families well. Through a child led approach, our amazing team care, nurture and develop the children. All our learning and exploration takes place in our large, open plan space. We work with children throughout their early years to develop their confidence in themselves, ready for the next stages in their development. Together with families we aim to ensure all children are respectful and resilient and prepared for all the exciting experiences that are available to them.
Our Space
Inside - We have zoned areas that we move around to maintain children's engagement and follow the childrens interests, usually this will include a role play area, a quiet area for sharing books and developing communication and language, a mark making and design space, a construction area that really helps develop early math skills and a small world area, that supports children's understanding of the world around them.
Our youngest children, up to the age of two, have an under 2's base which has been developed to support each of the individual children's next areas of development.
Outside - Our safe, stimulating garden allows all children to explore and learn outdoors.
At Hursley Childcare Hub Ltd we use Famly to keep all our families informed. Through Famly our children's parents and carers will know what their child has eaten and how much; what nappy changes they have received; any bumps or accidents they may have had; what activities they have participated in; any general communications.
We welcome families to update their own record of their children, for example, things they have done for the first time or days out and experiences they have whilst away from nursery.
We also update our weekly plans onto Famly and ideas on how to support children's development at home.

Our Team
We are an independent nursery owned by Vanessa. She works in partnership with a fabulous team, who receive continuous professional development and opportunities to increase their expertise on how to provide the very best care for the children.
Vanessa holds a BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies from the University of Winchester, as well as a Level 3 qualification in Children's workforce, amongst other training.
Sophie our Manager is Level 3 qualified and holds a Level 5 Leadership in Early Years Qualification.
Amy is our Assistant Manager, Baby Lead and SENCO, she has a Masters in Early Years.
Monica has Qualified Teacher Status and works with our Explorers, alongside Amy. o
Jade and Becca who work with our Pre School Children are Level 5 & 3 qualified.
Gabby a Qualified Teacher works alongside Pre School and Explorers.
Amy Level 3 qualified, works with Jess a Level 3 apprentice and Eve in our Under 2 pod.
Lucinda & Chloe work across the setting.
Hannah is Level 3 qualified and currently on maternity leave.Pediatric First Aid Qualified - Amy, Amy, Becca, Charlii, Chloe, Gabby, Hannah, Jade, Jess, Jessi, Lucinda, Monica, Sophie & VanessaPete our nursery chef has worked as a Chef around the world and as a Head Chef at various high quality Hampshire venues.
